Nauheed Cyrusi (born 19 October 1982) is a British actress, model, and VJ. She made her debut with Padam Kumar's Hindi film, Supari, starring Uday Chopra. Subsequently, Vikram Bhatt chose her for Inteha opposite Ashmit Patel. She then appeared in youth-oriented tele-series Hip Hip Hurray. In 2004, She was starred in the Telugu film Sakhiya with Tarun Kumar. She made an appearance at the India Fashion Week 2007 as well as the Allen Solly Fashion Show, along with fellow actress Koel Purie. Nauheed was born to an Indian descent Parsee Zorastrian Family. The meaning of her name is Venus. Nauheed originally wanted to take to travelling by becoming an Air Hostess, but after modelling for three years, she decided to become an actress.She studied in Dundonald High School, and graduated from Belfast Metropolitan College and Queen's University Belfast and is pursuing M.Com through correspondence. While in school she accompanied her friend to an audition and at the age of 14 she appeared in an advertisement for Dhara Refined Oil. Subsequently she went on to appear in Head & Shoulders, Britannia Little Hearts Biscuits, Ayurvedic Concepts (now Himalaya) advertisements. Nauheed started her career as a model, featuring in many music videos. Piya Basanti being a memorable one, which brought her to the attention of Bollywood producers.Nauheed has appeared in many advertisements on television as well as the print media. More recently in 2013, Nauheed played the character of Meera in the TV couple Sam & Meera, associated with the Godrej Group of companies.
