David Warner prefers Joe Burns as Opening partner against Team India | Oneindia Sports

After head coach Justin Langer hinting that Australia is likely to go ahead with Joe Burns as the opening partner for David Warner, and former cricketers such as Ricky Ponting backing the move, Warner himself for the first time has spoken on the issue. The star batsman also seemed to favour his old opening partner Joe Burns. However, he did say that with his performances Will Pucovski has made a strong case for himself. Victoria's Pucovski, 22, has been included in Australia's 17-man squad for the four-test series against India after amassing 495 runs in two Sheffield Shield matches.
