Nung 2006, natupad ni Cherish Maningat ang dream niyang makarating ng South Korea at makapag-aral doon.
Nag-aral siya ng Theater Directing sa Korean National University of Arts.
Habang naroon, nakapagtrabaho rin siya bilang musical actress at naging TV at film actress nung 2013.
Ilan sa mga nagawa niyang projects ay ang Heart Surgeons (2018), Beautiful Love, Wonderful Life (2019), My Little Hero (2013), Stand By Me (2018), at Romang (2019).
Sa latest project na nasamahan niya, ang Dr. Romantic Season 2, hindi lang niya co-star ang Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-Joo (2016) star na si Lee Sung Kyung, kundi chummy pa niya.
