Hilsa seat remains the subject of discussion in Bihar assembly elections. Controversy continues about this seat. The seat has gone to JDU's account with a margin of just 12 votes. According to the Election Commission, JDU candidate Krishnamurari Sharan alias Prem Mukhiya got 61,848 votes. While his rival RJD candidate Atri Muni alias Shakti Singh Yadav has got 61,836 votes.

बिहार विधानसभा चुनाव में हिलसा सीट चर्चा का विषय बना हुआ है। इस सीट को लेकर विवाद जारी है। सीट महज 12 वोटों के अंतर से जेडीयू के खाते में चली गई है। चुनाव आयोग के मुताबिक जेडीयू के उम्मीदवार कृष्णमुरारी शरण उर्फ प्रेम मुखिया को 61,848 वोट मिले हैं। जबकि उनके प्रतिद्वंद्वी आरजेडी के उम्मीदवार अत्री मुनि उर्फ शक्ति सिंह यादव को 61,836 वोट मिले हैं।
