The 2020 US presidential election played out like a series plot. The debates, like trailers, piqued the interest of many worldwide, and then election day arrived. The plot thickened as vote counting dragged into the second, third and then the fourth day. Eventually it all climaxed and Trump lost the White house. US president-elect Joe Biden won.
