The defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI) are up against Delhi Capitals (DC) in the 1st Qualifier of the ongoing 13th edition of the Indian Premier League at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. The toss went Shreyas Iyer’s way and he made the obvious choice to bowl. Batting first, the MI skipper Rohit Sharma bagged a golden duck to make an unpleasant record of getting out on a duck for the most number of times in the T20 Championship. In the 13-year history of the tournament, Rohit has featured in 194 IPL innings and went back to the pavilion without scoring a single run for as many as 13 times.
रोहित शर्मा फ्लॉप हो गए. मुंबई इंडियंस के कप्तान रोहित शर्मा दिल्ली कैपिटल्स के खिलाफ मुकाबले में फ्लॉप साबित हुए. रोहित शर्मा खाता भी नहीं खोल पाए. और उन्हें अश्विन ने आउट कर दिया. पहली ही गेंद पर रोहित शर्मा आउट हुए. यानी रोहित शर्मा के नाम गोल्डन डक. वो भी बड़े मुकाबलों में. क्वालीफायर मैच में रोहित शर्मा ने निराश किया. साथ ही एक शर्मनाक रिकॉर्ड भी रोहित ने बना दिए. दरअसल, रोहित शर्मा आइपीएल में 13वीं बार डक पर आउट होने वाले बल्लेबाज भी बन गए. आइपीएल में सबसे ज्यादा बार रोहित शर्मा से पहले डक पर आउट होने वाले खिलाड़ी हरभजन सिंह और पार्थिव पटेल थे. ये दोनों खिलाड़ी 13-13 बार डक पर आउट हो चुके हैं तो वहीं अब रोहित ने इनकी बराबरी कर ली है और इस लीग में सबसे ज्यादा बार डक पर आउट होने के मामले में संयुक्त रूप से भज्जी और पार्थिव की बराबरी पर आ गए हैं.
