In a major boost to India’s preparedness to take on the Chinese on the Line of Actual Control (LAC), the Indian Army has received the initial consignment of extreme cold weather clothing from the USA for its troops deployed on the China border. “An initial lot of extreme cold weather clothing from the American defence forces have been received and are being used by our troops there,” government sources told ANI here.

चीन सीमा पर तैनात भारतीय सैनिकों को अत्यधिक ठंड से बचाने के लिए अमेरिकी गर्म कपड़ों की पहली खेप भारत पहुंच गई है, जिससे अब सरहद पर दुश्मनों की रक्षा के लिए खड़े जवानों को सीमा पर अत्यधिक ठंड से राहत मिल सकेगी। सरकारी सूत्रों ने बताया कि अमेरिकी रक्षा बलों द्वारा भीषण सर्दी में उपयोग होने वाले कपड़ों की पहली भारत में भेजी गई है। सूत्रों ने बताया है कि भारतीय सेना भीषण ठंड के लिए अपने पास करीब 60 हजार सैनिकों के हिसाब से विशेष कपड़ों का स्टॉक रखती है.
