How Gurr Is Made From Sugar Cane | A Tour Of Punjab’s Sugar Cane Fields

Reporter Mian Asif was present in the fields of sugar cane (ganna) and showed us how gurr (sugar) is made from the sugar canes. The sugar canes are grinded in order to extract their juice. The juice is then heated and cooled down. As the juice cools, it becomes thick and sticky. The thick and sticky mixture is further molded into pieces of gurr. For more details watch the video.
