Pigeon racing was a very famous sport in old days but as environments and era is changing , the racing of pigeon is also dying in Pakistan. There was a time when pigeon racing was a festival and it was used to be celebrated in Lahore where thousand of Kabootar Baaz used to show their training given to pigeons. This man Khawaja Mujeeb is training pigeons for last 63 years, he started kabootar baazi when he was only 9 years old. He is that much expert in his work that people from around the world ask him about pigeons training. While talking to UrduPoint he mentioned that he loves having pigeons with him at his home, he shared an incident that in Bhutto tenure when there was curfew in all Lahore, he all alone lived inside a closed shop for 13 days just to feed his pigeons.
