Ismail Sabri: Govt to study if food aid is needed for Omadal Island residents

The government will refer to the Sabah Disaster Management Committee to assess if food aid is indeed needed for the residents on Omadal Island, said Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.
The Senior Minister said that on Friday when asked to comment on reports that residents from the area had not received food aid, adding that Omadal Island is not one of the six localities in Semporna placed under Enhanced Movement Control Order (MCO).
