A storm was building over Oxley in Queensland, Australia. Soon it got dark, followed by rain and hail. These two people went to their deck to check out the storm's intensity. As they stood there, talking, lightning struck a tree in their backyard, not more than three meters away from them. The tree exploded from the center, sending shards of wood flying in the air.
