Lebanon's Hariri vows to form new government quickly, stop economic collapse

Lebanon saw the dramatic return of former Prime Minister Saad Hariri,... who had to step down last year due to protests.
The veteran politician will be the third Prime Minister to form a government in the country this year,... hoping to revive the country from its worst economic crisis.

Mok-yeon, Saad Hariri has been renamed as prime minister of Lebanon on Thursday, marking his fourth term.
His last cabinet was toppled a year ago due to anti-government protests.
The dramatic return comes amid the country's worst crisis since its civil war,... including a banking crisis, rising poverty,...and COVID-19.
To solve all this, he vowed to quickly form a government.
"I will first focus on forming the government quickly, because time is running out and the opportunity in front of our beloved country is the only and the last one."
Hariri promised to form a government with non-partisan experts to carry out reforms.
Along with reforms, he aims to rebuild the Beirut port after the huge August explosion that killed nearly 200 people.
