Still no way forward on the Cape Town refugee crisis

It’s been seven months since the portfolio committee on Home Affairs met to discuss a way forward for hundreds of refugees and asylum seekers who staged a sit at the UNHCR offices in Cape Town, and then the Central Methodist Church. But still, no workable solution has been found. Instead, an oversight inspection will take place on a date still to be determined.
