RLD's attempt to unite Jaats with mahapanchayat?

The mahapanchayat was held on Thursday following protests against the police's baton charge on RLD leader Jayant Chaudhary when he had gone to meet the Hathras victim's family. In support of the RLD leader, massive protests were held in the districts of Meerut, Muzaffarnagar, Baghpat, Bulandshahr, Aligarh and Bijnor among others on Tuesday.
