Strength, flexibility and a whole lot of colour were on display in the Vietnam capital Hanoi as dragons writhed and flared in the streets.
More than 300 Vietnamese performers took part in the dragon dances - part of celebrations to mark the city's 1010th anniversary.
"It's both thrilling and fun," said spectator Nguyen Thi Dung, watching the 13 teams take part. "It's a feeling that's hard to describe."
