Health authorities are urging citizens to avoid traveling during the Chuseok holiday.
Naturally, many citizens, especially those in the capital region, want to find ways to enjoy some culture near their homes.
For some great recommendations, let's turn to our Kim Bo-kyoung.
Travel might be off the cards this Chuseok, but there's still plenty to see and do for those staying in Seoul.
Dongdaemun Design Plaza is hosting a new exhibition by teamLab, an interdisciplinary, multi-national group of specialists.
teamLab: LIFE combines nature and digital technology... and its mesmerizing artwork might inspire people and help them empty their minds.

"In this exhibition, we've explored the continuity of life. Amid this tiring time of COVID-19, we hope this exhibition can make people feel how beautiful life can be, and think positively of the fact that we are alive regardless of what circumstances we're in."

If history is more of your thing, the National Museum of Korea has extended its exhibition 'The New National Treasures of Korea' for two more weeks until October 11. It is a rare chance to see cultural properties that were designated as treasures or national treasures between 2017 and 2019.
Over in Siheung City, Gyeonggi-do Province is a solo art exhibition by Kim Soon-kyum showing beautiful images of Korean traditional brassware along with water and flowers.
For people who are planning to just stay home during this holiday,... the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has created a website called 'Culture@Home'.
29 individual websites are integrated into one portal,... and the updated version specially made for Chuseok holiday will be open until October 4th.
