5. The atomic bomb! Man's most destructive weapon is developed at Oak Ridge, tenn.
6. Pictures taken 6 miles away of test explosion in New Mexico!
7. With more power than 20.000 tons of TNT, the atomic bomb wipes Hiroshima from map!
8. August 8, 1945. Russia declare war on Japan!
9. August 14, 1945. President Truman announces Japan's unconditional surrender!

22. Second pen goes to britains lt. Gen. A. E. Percival, defender of Singapore, before surrender!
23. Admiral Chester W. Nimitz signs for the United States!
24. Then follow representatives of the United Kingdom, China, Soviet Russia, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, France and Holland.
25. Unconditional surrender signed, Macarthur declares the proceedings closed!
