4. July 26, 1945. From Potsdam to Tokyo goes the big three declaration, unconditional surrender or complete destruction!
5. The atomic bomb! Man's most destructive weapon is developed at Oak Ridge, tenn.
6. Pictures taken 6 miles away of test explosion in New Mexico!
7. With more power than 20.000 tons of TNT, the atomic bomb wipes Hiroshima from map!
8. August 8, 1945. Russia declare war on Japan!
9. August 14, 1945. President Truman announces Japan's unconditional surrender!
10. The nation goes wild with victory celebrations!
11. Meanwhile, Japan's Lt. Gen. Kawabe presents this credentials to U.S. Lt. Gen. R. K. Sutherland. Kawabe is questioned and handed orders!
12. The U.S. third fleet, mightiest in the world, storms foward Tokyo bay.
13. The 11th airborne and 27th divisions land at Ataugi air field!
14. Supreme allied commander Gen. Douglas Macarthur triumphantly sets foot on japanese soil!
15. In the first four day after Japan's surrender, 25.000 U.S. troops, including 3.000 marines, land on Henshu island!
16. September 2, 1945. USS Missouri in Tokyo bay!
17. Gen. Macarthur arrives to accept surrender!
18. The japanese delegation arrives for final formalities!
19. Representing Hirohito, Japan's Foreign Minister Shige Mitsu signs!
20. Gen. Macarthur signs in behalf of all victorious powers!
21. Lt. Gen. J. M. Wainwright, hero of corregidor, recives first pen of signing from Gen. Macarthur!
22. Second pen goes to britains lt. Gen. A. E. Percival, defender of Singapore, before surrender!
23. Admiral Chester W. Nimitz signs for the United States!
24. Then follow representatives of the United Kingdom, China, Soviet Russia, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, France and Holland.
25. Unconditional surrender signed, Macarthur declares the proceedings closed!
