SACP says recovery plan must focus on people

Public funds cannot be used to rescue a capitalist system. SACP's Solly Mapaila was reacting to Nedlac’s new economic recovery plan. The recovery plan aims to drive infrastructure investment and local manufacturing, and improve SA's ability to compete and create jobs. It is also expected to focus on addressing Eskom’s structural and funding problems. The party is calling on government to direct the recovery plan on bread and butter issues.
