Panday case stalled for nearly a decade

While the police and NPA talk tough on corruption, they are still trying to recover from the hangover caused by their predecessors. Nearly a decade after corruption suspects tried to bribe KwaZulu-Natal’s Hawks boss, the matter has still not been prosecuted. The case involves former police Major General Johan Booysen and businessman Thoshan Panday.
