District Six Museum in dire straits

It is Heritage Month but the survival of a 25-year-old museum in Cape Town is under threat, due to the lockdown. As an independent institution, it does not qualified for any COVID-19 relief assistance. The absence of walk-in tourists means the District Six Museum might not be able to re-open. It is now appealing for donations from the public to ensure its longevity.
