Members of the transgender community in Chennai are spreading awareness about COVID-19 in the slum areas. Community members in collaboration with Chennai Corporation carried out a door-to-door campaign educating people about the pandemic and the precautions need to be undertaken. They also checked the temperatures, pulse of the slum dwellers.
