Heart of Belgian town's first mayor found hidden in a fountain

The story had become a myth in the Belgian town of Verviers: the heart of the first mayor of the town would be sealed in a box, hidden in the middle of the town fountain bearing his name.
On 20 August, the legend ceased to be one: during the restoration of the Pierre David fountain, workers discovered the heart of the former mayor of Verviers by chance.
