의정갈등 대화로 급선회… 의협 “오늘 범투위 열어 논의”

The prolonged conflict between South Korean doctors and the government COULD enter a POSITIVE phase as the medical association plans to propose negotiations over the government's planned healthcare reforms.
The Korean Medical Association said that they are holding a meeting on Thursday afternoon to negotiate with the government.
This comes as the chief policymaker of the ruling Democratic Party expressed her willingness to reconsider the reforms during a meeting with the striking doctors.
The withdrawal of the prosecution of four doctors that had been charged for disobeying the government's return-to-work order also had a positive impact.
