11 book titles under her belt and now she' off to NYC

It has not been an easy road for Nonhlanhla Mnisi. Her father died before she was born, and she lost her mother at the tender age of 12. But the Soweto-born writer, producer, and director did not let that stop her. By the time she was 28, she had already published 8 books. She now boasts 11 titles and the Golden Key International Award. Mnisi is now off to the prestigious New York Film Academy to study Film and Cinematography.
