Gender gap widening due to COVID-19

The gender gap is widening due to the effects of COVID-19 on women. Over 7,000 adults participated in the National Income Dynamics study Coronavirus rapid mobile survey, also known as NIDS-CRAM. It was carried out between May and June and looking at the effects on women and children. Wits Professor Daniela Casale says women are severely affected physically and financially.
