Maimane wants Electoral Act amended

One South Africa Movement leader Mmusi Maimane wants MPs to support the Direct Elections Bill. The draft bill seeks to give voters power to elect their own leaders free from political party constraints. Members of the public will from today be able to comment on the draft bill. Maimane joined us earlier to explain what the bill entails and how it is different from our electoral laws.
