A number of countries have announced an interest in building the Kuala Lumpur-Singapore high-speed rail (HSR) line, which may see tenders for the project opened later this year.Among them is China, which runs more than half of the total length of the world's HSR lines.In making their case for the proposed KL-Singapore line, a Chinese railway official claimed that China had an advantage over other countries.
