Customer attacks Wendy's drive thru staff

A disgruntled fast food customer at a Wendy’s drive-thru leans in through the window and tries to attack staff - smashing anything he can reach and then trying to steal cash when it falls to the floor. The incident happened when the customer, identified by the police as Kelvin Barnes, 26, became enraged and tried to get through the window of Wendy’s drive-thru in Tampa, a major city in Hillsborough County, Florida, United States at 11:00 p.m. on August 2, 2020. The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office released the footage from the surveillance camera where Barnes came in front of the window, angry throwing the glasses and other objects he could reach. He also hit the cash register and it fell on the ground and he is seen trying to grab cash until employees came and closed the window, although Barnes continues to hit it. According to the press release by the police, one of the employees confirmed to them that Barnes became mad while waiting for the order, but the reason is not revealed.
