KZN tourism takes a knock

Tourism businesses around St Lucia on KwaZulu-Natal's north coast are pleading with government to allow for inter-provincial and international travel. For the past three months, the industry has been unable to make money as even travel within a province was banned. That changed last week but it's not enough. Tourism contributes just under 10 percent of the province’s GDP but that is taking a knock.
