S. Korea reports 36 new cases of COVID-19, mostly local; one new death

South Korea on Sunday reported 36 new cases of the coronavirus, most of them in the capital area.
Of the new cases, 30 were transmitted locally 11 in Seoul and 14 in the surrounding Gyeonggi-do Province.
The total number of cases is now 14-thousand-598.
The number of local cases had fallen into the teens or single digits earlier this month, but there are multiple cluster infections linked to churches in the city of Goyang, just outside of Seoul.
There was one new death reported Sunday, raising the death toll to 305.
The health authorities have announced new measures to help people cope with the pandemic psychologically.
The pandemic has caused an increase in people reporting depression and anxiety, so the government's going to operate a hotline for counseling, give time off to medical workers... and provide information through various channels to help people manage their mental well-being.
