A cemetery worker films the hundreds of stacked coffins in a storage facility in Italy which are still waiting for burial - some of them for many weeks. The incident was filmed at the Rotoli di Palermo Cemetery in the Italian island of Sicily, and one video posted by Antonino Arena has been viewed nearly one million times on Facebook. The footage shows hundreds of coffins with photos of the deceased on the outside that are stacked up in a storage facility at the cemetery, reportedly still awaiting burial. At one point, Arena explains: “There are around 538 dead people and only 20 can be buried every day, so you do the maths.” He adds: “There is an unbelievable smell, you can't stay here, the council has to take care of it. It's a real shame. “Roberto, a friend of mine died on 4th June and is still here. I can't believe we had to bring a loved one here and leave him in this condition.”
