The Turkwel Dam In West Pokot County Is Expected To Spill Over In The Next Two Months Following The Increased Volume Of Water If The Heavy Rainfall Witnessed Continues Pounding The Area. This Is According To An Alert From The Kerio Valley Development Authority That Manages The Facility. Currently The Level Of The Dam Is 1142 Hence Only 7 Meters Left For The Dam To Begin To Spill Over.
