Paris officials honour Jews taken during the 1942 Vél'd'Hiv round-up

French officials including junior armed forces minister Geneviève Darrieussecq as well as the mayor of Paris Anne Hidalgo participate in a wreath laying in memory of the victims of the Vél'd'Hiv round-up. On July 16 and 17, 1942, some 13,000 Jews were arrested and rounded up at the Vélodrome d'Hiver and sent to a concentration camp.
