Former Pakistan pacer Shoaib Akhtar has said that Mohammad Hafeez should not have confronted the board by sharing the result of the private COVID-19 test on Twitter, Hafeez, who was named in the 29-member squad for the England tour, was one of the 10 players to test positive for COVID-19 in the first round of PCB's testing. On June 24, Hafeez publically announced that he and his family members have tested negative.

पाकिस्तान के पूर्व कप्तान मोहम्मद हफीज कोरोना विवाद में चारों तरफ से घिर गए हैं। पहले उनके खिलाफ सिर्फ पाकिस्तान क्रिकेट बोर्ड ही था। अब हफीज के खिलाफ पाकिस्तान के पूर्व तेज गेंदबाज शोएब अख्तर भी हो गए हैं। हफीज ने कोरोना टेस्ट का रिजल्ट सोशल मीडिया पर शेयर कर दिया था। उन्होंने इसके लिए पीसीबी की इजाजत नहीं ली थी। शोएब ने कहा कि यह गलत था। उन्हें ऐसा नहीं करना चाहिए। हफीज को फिलहाल इंग्लैंड दौरे से बाहर कर दिया गया है।
