Ktera Winery — Amizur Nachshoni יקב קטירה — עמיצור נחשוני

Ktera Winery was established in 2010. An Israeli boutique winery as another branch to a family of an agricultural economy.
The winemaker, Moshe Saadon, worked to establish the winery which started with a very great hobby and love for wine.
Initially, the wine was produced solely for self-consumption and was named “The Farmers’ Wine.” They have always been engaged in agriculture, and are very much involved in the soil work.
For them, wine is one of the best results the earth can give.
With the passage of time, the vast experience accumulated, and the huge demand from the consumer audience, they decided to establish the “Ktera Winery.”

The winery is located in Kfar Aviv, Israel near the city of Ashdod. Before the establishment of the state of Israel, there was an ancient Arab settlement that was named — “Ktera.”
At the same time, according to the Moroccan ethnicity, the name “Ktera” means drop/sip.
When gathered for an aperitif, eating and drinking wine, occasionally the partners propose to pour another “Ktera”, that is, to pour another drop (wine).
In addition, the custom of the Hasidim was the multiplicity of banquets, such as a third supper, as the Sages said, “The sip (of wine) is so powerful because it brings the hearts closer.” This led to the unification of people and their mutual help in spirituality and in the physical. And that is their goal, to bring them all together with joy and kindness.
It is important to note that all wines are kosher under Beit Yosef — Orthodox Union.
