Water bubbles up through pavement after heavy rain in Bangkok
Pedestrians were baffled by a water fountain bubbling up through the pavement during a rainstorm in Bangkok, Thailand.
The four jets of water began spraying up through the ground on the busy Sukhumvit Road area of the capital following a powerful tropical downpour on June 19.
Onlookers commented on the apparent poor infrastructure and drainage, which often leads to flash floods during the country's monsoon rainy season.
The filmer said: ''There are heavy downpours most days during the rainy season but the roads cannot cope with the amount of water. ''
