When Kedar Sharma was looking for a new heroine for the film ‘Neel Kamal’, His wife Kamala suggested the name of Baby Mumtaz i.e. Madhubala, when Madhubala was just 14 years old. Kamala Chatterjee died on the film's Muhurat day. But before she died, Kamala vowed to Kedar that he would take the heroine Baby Mumtaz in my place in the film Neelkamal.
