South Korea has confirmed 67 new COVID-19 cases on Saturday, marking the highest daily rise in over three weeks.
36 of the new cases are local transmissions. Most of them are from cluster infections in the Seoul metropolitan area, Daejeon and Chungcheongnam-do Province.
31 of the new cases were imported. That's also the highest daily rise since April.
With a steady rise in COVID-19 cases in the nation, South Korea's foreign ministry re-extended the special travel advisory to all countries across the globe until July 19.
There were no additional deaths, so the death toll remains at 280.
