Date: Sept. 26, 2014 (Bryan Ferry’s 69th Birthday!)

Tuneage: "Virginia Plain" was originally released by Roxy Music, as their debut single in August 1972. Written by Roxy frontman Bryan Ferry, the song was recorded by the band in July 1972 at London's Command Studios. The song was not included on the band's original UK debut album, Roxy Music, having not even been recorded when the album was released. After the success of the album in the UK, it was included on later re-issues.

Guy Pratt Bass (bass player on Bryan Ferry's Bête Noire and Mamouna albums, and played the bass on the post-Waters Pink Floyd CD's The Division Bell and Pulse and the soundtrack for La Carrera Panamericana. He has performed with Pink Floyd since the Momentary Lapse Of Reason tour. Guy has also made studio sessions with the Dream Academy and Jimmy Nail, Madonna, Michael Jackson amongst others and performed with David Gilmour at the Chelsea Arts Ball in London 1992. In 1996 Pratt married Gala Wright, the daughter of Richard Wright.
