India has woken up to another bad news this morning as veteran actor Rishi Kapoor passed away after fighting two years long battle with cancer. He was 67 years old. Amitabh Bachchan confirmed the news on Twitter. He wrote, “He’s GONE .. ! Rishi Kapoor .. gone .. just passed away .. I am destroyed !” Last night, he was admitted to a hospital in Mumbai and his brother Randhir said, "He is in the hospital. He is suffering from cancer and he has some breathing problem.” His wife Neetu Kapoor was by his side when he took his last breath. Rishi Kapoor returned to India last September after undergoing treatment for cancer in the US for almost a year. In February, he was hospitalized twice due to his health issues. Yesterday, the Bollywood fraternity lost legendary actor Irrfan Khan and now the industry has lost another gem. May his soul rest in peace.
