Fire causes heavy damage to the Brickyard Pub in Lewiston
Fire tore through the Brickyard Pub, 432 Center St., Lewiston, shortly before 11 p.m. Tuesday, causing heavy damage to the restaurant and on-premises brewery operation.
“We were sitting at a campfire and saw a little flame at first. I called 911. It spread up through the roof,” said Dylan Empson, 18, of Lewiston, who was on Ridge Street behind the restaurant.
"We were just talking and heard a dinging, an alarm,” he said.
