China’s foreign ministry said on Wednesday US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo seriously damaged the peace and stability of the Taiwan Strait and China-US relations by making a congratulatory statement to Taiwan’s president Tsai Ing-Wen.China will take necessary countermeasures and the U.S. must bear the consequences, the ministry said in a statement.

चीन के विदेश मंत्रालय ने कहा कि अमेरिकी विदेश मंत्री माइक पोम्पियो ने ताइवान क्षेत्र की स्थिरता और शांति के साथ-साथ अमेरिका-चीन के संबंधों को भी गंभीर नुकसान पहुंचाया है. चीन ने कहा कि वह इसके खिलाफ जरूरी कार्रवाई करेगा और अमेरिका को इसका अंजाम जरूर भुगतना पड़ेगा.
