Unnao Gang Rape: Victim's father dies while in custody, 6 cops suspended

The father of an 18-year-old woman, who had alleged rape by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar and his brothers, died in custody here on Monday, prompting her to put the blame on the lawmaker, who rejected the charge as a conspiracy and said the complainant was “low class.” The woman’s father was allegedly roughed up by the accused MLA's brother and accomplices a few days back and sustained multiple injuries.
