This couple met at an Atlanta Nike Store in 2014. They were supposed to wed at Savannah’s First African Baptist Church, where Jillian’s parents were married and she was baptized. When they realized this wouldn't be possible, they sought the advice of their pastors and arranged for the ceremony to take place over Zoom. The Church Reverend joined their Zoom to officiate the ceremony, which took place in their living room and had about 100 people tune in. They couldn’t even pick up their clothes, so improvised with items in their closet. They couldn’t pick up their wedding cake either, so they improvised with Krispy Kreme donuts. Jill and Josh remain very positive and upbeat offering advice to other couples, and are happy they could offer some joy with their "lemons to lemonade" wedding ceremony.
