Dozens of dead fish wash ashore in California lake

Residents woke up to a shock when they discovered dozens of dead fish had washed ashore in Lake Elsinore, California during the night.

Footage from Wednesday (May 13) shows the dead fish pileup along the shore.

This is not thought to be an isolated incident. According to local media, past die-offs have been attributed to incredibly high temperatures and low oxygen levels in the lake.
