Unnao rape survivor's uncle granted parole to attend wife's last rites

The Unnao rape survivor and her family had written to the Chief Justice of India days before the deadly crash. Almost a fortnight after the letter, the girl and her family members met with a deadly car crash in Rae Bareli on Sunday. In the letter, Sengar and his men had warned the survivor and her family that, “you still have time, opt for out-of-court settlement for your own well-being.”
