The ancient Sun Temple of Aurangabad district of Bihar is unique. The temple is said to have been built by Lord Vishwakarma himself in one night. It is the only Sun Temple in the country, whose door faces west. In this temple the idol of the Sun God is riding on seven chariots.

बिहार के औरंगाबाद जिले का प्राचीन सूर्य मंदिर अनोखा है। कहा जाता है कि इस मंदिर का निर्माण स्वयं भगवान विश्वकर्मा ने एक रात में किया था। यह देश का एकमात्र ऐसा सूर्य मंदिर है, जिसका दरवाजा पश्चिम की ओर है। इस मंदिर में सूर्य देवता की मूर्ति सात रथों पर सवार है।
