Residents of Ijeododo community in Ijegun area of Lagos state have described as traumatic their experience at the hands of Ikeja Electric Plc.
Representatives from the community told The Punch that the last time they had electricity was November 9, 2019. They also expressed their displeasure over the continued billing by the electricity company despite enjoying no power supply for months.
Eunice Irepe, a resident of the community laments her inability to store food items in a refrigerator without power supply for the past 6 months.
It can be recalled that Lagos state is on lockdown over coronavirus pandemic and residents in the state are to stay at home.
