Injured badger is rescued from under car in southern UK

An injured badger was found sleeping underneath a family's car in Dorset, south England, and rescued by an RSPCA worker.

The footage shows the RSCPA employee attempted to coax the injured animal out from underneath the vehicle.

The filmer told Newsflare: "We found a badger under a car that was limping So we fed him banana up close till help arrived.

"RSPCA said they would take him to a vet as they weren't sure of the extent of his injuries. He did have a teeny tiny speck of blood on his knee but was only able to hobble along.

"He must have been sleeping under the car for a good few hours overnight until the next morning when we found him."

After managing to get a hold of the badger, the animal rescuer put it into a cage where it'll be taken to a vet to receive a medical check-up.

This video was filmed on April 24.
