Book of Revelation = Encouraging (not scary)

Too many prophecy preachers and teachers have emphasized the last book of the Bible (Revelation) in a fear-mongering manner, and this is repulsive.
It's about time that people talk about the book of Revelation in an encouraging manner, because that's the intent of this pastoral letter; not to put fear into people over an end-times plot-line where the antichrist and the devil get most of the attention, but where God is worshipped as His (and our) victory unfold through-out this literary masterpiece.
This video specifically addresses one of the narrative plot-lines of the book of Revelation, where the people of God move from martyrdom to victory, and from being killed off in the Roman Empire to participating in the advancement of the New Jerusalem, where eternity breaks into our time and where the healing that God has in store for the world begins now and continues forevermore.
Journey with me, as we take the book of Revelation seriously enough to let it speak on its own terms, where the end result is encouragement, not fear!
